Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Munmun Dutta took to her Instagram handle on Wednesday night to share her first post ever since her engagement reports with former co-star Raj Anadkat made headlines. Munmun shared a series of throwback pictures from her recent trip to New York and penned down a cryptic note.
“Living my best life Sharing the last set of pictures from my NYC trip and photoshoot,” she wrote. In the pictures, Munmun was seen posing on the streets of New York. She sported a grey shirt with orange trousers and looked stunning as always. Check out her post here:
On Wednesday, News18 Showsha exclusively reported that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actors Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat are engaged. Munmun, 36, and Raj, 27, exchanged rings earlier this month in the presence of their respective families, the source informed us. The insider further revealed that the two actors got engaged in a low-key ceremony outside Mumbai.
“The engagement took place just a few days back. The two apparently exchanged rings in Vadodara (Gujarat). Munmun and Raj’s families have accepted their relationship and they were also present at the ceremony,” the source said.
However, Munmun dismissed the engagement report and issued a statement which read, “This news is ridiculous, fake and ludicrous. Zero ounce of truth in it. And frankly, I don’t want to give my energy to this fake thing that keeps coming up again and again.”
Later, Raj also took to his Instagram stories and called the engagement report false. “Hello everyone. Just to clear things up, the news you’ve been seeing on social media is false & baseless,” he wrote.
While Munmun plays the role of Babita in the popular sitcom, Raj played Dilip Joshi’s son Tappu in the show. Raj announced his departure from TMKOC in December 2022.
