On Thursday night, Munawar Faruqui attended Jigna Vohra’s birthday bash in Mumbai when he was mobbed by his fans.
Munawar Faruqui enjoys a massive fan following and there is no doubt about it. His Bigg Boss 17 victory has only multiplied his popularity. On Thursday night, Munawar attended Jigna Vohra’s birthday bash in Mumbai when he was mobbed by his fans. In a video that surfaced on social media, the stand-up comedian was seen struggling to walk while his fans surrounded him.
While some cheered “Munawar bhai”, others were seen asking for a selfie with the stand-up comedian. However, Munawar kept his calm, greeted all with folded hands and somehow managed to walk towards his car. Watch the video here:
Besides Munawar, several of his other Bigg Boss 17 co-contestants including Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Abhishek Kumar, Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel also attended Jigna’s birthday celebration.
Bigg Boss 17 concluded in January last week with Munawar emerging as the winner. Abhishek Kumar was the first runner-up of the show followed by Mannara Chopra and Ankita Lokhande. However, following Munawar’s victory, some social media users made serious allegations and claimed that the comedian’s win was ‘fixed’.
Later, in an interview with ETimes, Munawar reacted to the allegations and said, “Yaar fixed winner ko itna sab go through karna pade toh it can’t be a fixed winner. If I would have been a fixed winner I would have got everything on a platter. I’ve got nothing on a platter, I’ve worked hard and a lot. My answer to people who are calling me a fixed winner is just sit and watch the entire season and you will realise that it wasn’t fixed.”
Next, Munawar is all set for the release of his music video titled Halki Halki Si. The song is sung by Asees Kaur and Saaj Bhatt, whereas it is composed by Sanjeev Chaturvedi. It also features Hina Khan alongside Faruqui.
