Mumbai rains wreak havoc, waterlogging in several areas | Watch

In the wake of the heavy rains that lashed Mumbai on Thursday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert. Train and bus services were badly hit across the city. Water-logging was witnessed in several low-lying areas due to the first heavy downpour of the season, civic officials said. Several parts of Mumbai, including Kurla, Chembur, Sion, Dadar and Andheri, witnessed heavy rain. The weather department has also issued a yellow alert, predicting heavy rains at a few places in the city on July 1 and 2, an official said. Watch the full report here.
