MS Dhoni is currently in the USA and was recently spotted at the ongoing US Open too.

Legendary India captain MS Dhoni is currently holidaying in the United States of America and he recently was invited to play golf by former US president Donald Trump.

Trump hosted the two-time cricket world cup winning skipper for a golf match.

A picture of the two was shared by Dhoni’s entrepreneur friend Hitesh Sanghvi on his Instagram account.

“Golf with @mahi7781, @realdonaldtrump and @rajiv.knack…….thank you mr president for hosting us,” Sanghvi wrote.

Being a sportsperson that he is, Dhoni also attended the men’s singles quarterfinals at the US Open 2023 between defending champion Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev which the former won in dominating fashion.

Dhoni himself has been spotted enjoying a game of tennis in the past indicating he’s a fan of the sport.

Earlier this year, Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings to a record-equalling fifth IPL title when the franchise defeated Gujarat Titans in a thrilling last-ball finish at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The IPL 2023 was heavily speculated to be his final season and fans lined up in huge numbers to watch him play throughout CSK’s campaign.

However, he hasn’t yet said anything about calling time on his IPL career hinting it will depend on how well his body can cope up now.

Notably, Dhoni, a wicketkeeper-batter, played with an injured knee throughout the season which hampered his mobility. He was quite often seen limping and walking with a knee strap.

To deal with the issue, he immediately underwent a surgery after the end of the IPL season.

Dhoni is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers to have played the game. He’s the only captain to have won all three major ICC trophies in limited-overs cricket including the World T20, ODI World Cup and Champions Trophy.

While he retired from international cricket in 2020, the 42-year-old has continued representing CSK in IPL.
