A horrific accident took place on National Highway No. 47 late Friday night in Betul, Madhya Pradesh. In this, four including the section engineer of the railway died. The accident happened when a car rammed into the back of a moving truck on the highway. The accident was so severe that the car was completely blown away. The police is probing the incident. The dead include two men and two women.
The accident took place on NH 47 in Multai police station area of Betul district. While overtaking a car going from Betul to Nagpur rammed into the back of a truck near Bhilai village. Due to this the car was blown away. Three people died on the spot in the incident. The condition of one was serious, he was referred to Nagpur. He died there during treatment.
According to the police, railway section engineer Sanjeev Kant Bhagat and track man Rajkumar Sisodia were going from Betul to Nagpur in a car. Two women were also with him. At that time, while overtaking the truck, the car rammed into the back of the moving truck. The car was being driven by Rajkumar Sisodia. He and both the women died on the spot.
Sanjeev Kant Bhagat was trapped in the car. He was thrown out. His condition was critical. He was taken to Multai Community Health Center. From there he was referred to Nagpur, where he died during treatment. The police is probing the incident. Both women have not been identified. Both are said to be relatives. It is also learned that one of the women was pregnant.
