Mp Demands 3 New Trains From City | Vadodara News – Times of India

VADODARA: While speaking in the Parliament regarding the provisions for railways in the budget, BJP MP from Vadodara Ranjan Bhatt sought three new trains from Vadodara to Amritsar, Pandharpur and Haridwar.
She praised the railways for a series of initiatives including those in Vadodara, and also noted that 32 railway stations in Vadodara division were being developed as model railway stations. She said that to ensure connectivity to the Statue of Unity six new trains had been started.
Bhatt said that there was a network of narrow gauge lines in Vadodara division that could be converted to broad gauge. She said that on the lines of Chhayapuri railway station, the Pratapnagar railway station should also be developed as a satellite railway station.
The MP made the demands for these three new trains as the city had several persons who need to travel to these three pilgrimage places.
