First of all let us know what records have been broken by monsoon this time.
Of the 700 dams big and small in Rajasthan, 500 dams have leaked. Till now the state has received 49 per cent more rain. Usually it rains 317MM but this time it has rained 471.3MM. This time the record of 66 years has been broken due to rain. So much water has been filled in 22 dams, which quench the thirst of Rajasthan, that till the next monsoon, that is, by the month of May-June, 18% more water has been arranged.

In Rajasthan, 70 percent of agriculture depends on monsoon. Agriculture contributes 27% to the state’s GDP. It is a matter of happiness that due to incessant rains, 2.5 lakh hectare more land has been sown than last year and this gold is ready to spew.

- 65 percent of the population of Rajasthan is dependent on agriculture or lives entirely in the village. The cost of cultivation will be reduced, for irrigation, the farmers will have to run tube wells etc. The rain has just worked.
- In such a situation, this monsoon will prove to increase the income of 65 percent of the people. Higher income will increase the spending capacity of these people. Money will come in the market. The revenue of the government will also increase with more purchases.
- Farmers will be able to repay the loans taken from the government (co-operative banks).
- Due to good production, there will be no such thing as farmer suicide, provided they get good price for their crop.

According to economic expert SS Somra, there was a revenue crisis after the Kovid epidemic, Rajasthan was at the fore in the loan taking states. The share of 39% of GDP is going towards repayment of loans. The government is facing economic pressure.
The government believes that due to good monsoon, inflation will be reduced to 6 per cent in the next three-four months. With the prospects of agricultural production, it is expected that the prices of flour, pulses or other kitchen items will remain under control. This will give relief to the common man from inflation.
Picture can change
The water till next year has arrived in the Jawai Dam, which quenches the thirst of Pali. The rain water storage in the state is about 30 per cent. If it is increased to 60 or 80 per cent, then the picture itself will change.
Water till next year came in these dams
- Haro of Banswara, Gudha of Bundi, Som Kala Amba of Dungarpur and Jakham Dam of Pratapgarh have been 100% filled.
- In 22 big dams including Rana Pratap Sagar, Kota Barrage, Jawahar Sagar, Bisalpur, Mahi Bajaj Sagar, Jawai, 18% more water has come till August 19 as compared to last year.
- These big dams of the state have the capacity to store 8105 MQM of water, so far 82 percent (6597 MQM) of water has arrived. Whereas so far last year only 5314 MQM of water had come to the dams, which was only 64 percent.
- Rainfall in Rajasthan has increased by 32%. Earlier there was maximum rain for 14 days, now it has increased to more than 18 days.

Now at many places, a week more heavy rain system will be formed. After that the system will become sluggish.
