On Monday, the special court of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Ranchi heard the bail plea of ​​Pooja Singhal, but the court has postponed her bail plea till July 12. In the last hearing of Singhal’s bail plea, time was sought by the ED to respond, but the ED could not file its reply today, so today the hearing was postponed. The court will next hear the bail plea only after the ED’s reply is summoned. Therefore, the next hearing of this matter has now been fixed on July 12.

ED will soon file charge sheet
The ED has completed preparations to file a charge sheet against Pooja Singhal and her CA Suman Kumar, among others, in a money laundering case. The charge sheet is likely to be filed by the ED soon. In fact, in the first week of May, the ED had raided 25 places of Pooja Singhal and her close associates simultaneously. After this, Pooja Singhal was arrested on May 11 in a money laundering case. He was interrogated on 14-day remand, after which he was sent to police custody on May 25. After this, the suspended IAS had applied for bail in front of the ED citing ill health.

Blood pressure and thyroid were cited
Pooja Singhal has also been the mining secretary of Jharkhand. Through his lawyer Vishwajit Mukherjee, he had applied for bail before the ED and said that his blood pressure has increased significantly and he also has thyroid problem. Therefore, his bail application should be allowed. But today the hearing was postponed due to ED not filing the reply till now.
