1. ICC World Cup starts from 5 October; Indo-Pak match on October 15, final on November 19
ICC has released the schedule of World Cup 2023. The tournament will begin on October 5 with the New Zealand-England match. This match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India-Pakistan match will be held on this ground on 15 October. The final match will also be held here on 19 November. 10 teams will participate in the World Cup.
Why this news is important: All the matches will be played in India only. This is the first time that a country other than England has got to host all the World Cup matches.
