A model who will feature in BTS rapper RM’s upcoming second solo album Right Place Wrong Person revealed that during the photoshoot, RM “sat on his lap for 15 minutes.”

South Korean boyband BTS member RM has been at the centre of discussion recently. The rapper, who is currently enlisted in the military, will soon be releasing his second solo album titled Right Place Wrong Person. Ahead of that, BTS’ record label Big Hit Music dropped a bunch of concept photos on social media, featuring RM in cinematic representations. Some snaps contained several non-celebrity faces and models surrounding the rapper, who will appear in his album. Now, one of the male models has sparked a debate among the BTS ARMY after he spilled the beans on his “bewildering” encounter with RM during the concept photoshoot.

The model, whose identity has not been revealed was an elderly man. On May 2, a fan account dropped the clip of his statement on X (formerly Twitter). In the video, he described RM as an “absolutely charming” artist during their meet-up in November last year. Recalling the shoot days, he added that they talked about the military enlistment of the BTS leader too. But the boggling disclosure came soon after. The model shared that while they chatted, RM “sat on (his) lap for about fifteen minutes”.

A wave of confusion spread among the BTS Army and RM admirers. While many found the gesture “cute” others opined that they might have misheard “lab” or “left” for “lap”. “Sat on his lap??? RIGHT PLACE WRONG PERSON,” commented one user sarcastically. “Are there subtitles I think I misheard him say lap?!?” questioned another. “He sat on his lap. Idk I find this cute,” wrote a person.

The X-user who originally posted the video cleared the confusion later on. She posted a series of audio notes on the microblogging platform, claiming that the model was indeed talking about RM sitting on the man’s lap for 15 minutes. Her sister, who was a student of the model said in the audio that he might also be “half-joking” about the situation, reports Koreaboo.

Meanwhile, Right Place Wrong Person’s concept posters have piqued the interest of the masses. Take a look at them below:

The much-anticipated album’s music video and pre-release track will be unveiled on May 10 and the full album, including the title track music video, is scheduled to release on May 24.
