For admissions to MBBS and other medical-related courses, clearing the NEET exam, also known as the Medical College Entrance Exam, is imperative. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the schedule for the NEET UG 2024 exam. Prospective candidates aiming to take the exam in 2024 should acquaint themselves with the complete schedule.
Before diving into the NEET UG exam, candidates must familiarize themselves with every aspect related to the upcoming examination. Eligible candidates who have completed their Class 12th boards with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology can participate in the examination.
Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the NEET UG will be an offline examination, requiring candidates to physically visit the examination centre. Successful candidates can subsequently apply for various programs such as Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), and Nursing.
According to the notification released by the authorities, the NEET application process is set to commence in March 2024. During April 2024, candidates will be able to fill out the application form, pay the fees, and make necessary corrections. The admit cards will be available from the last week of April, with the exam scheduled for May 5, 2024. The NEET results are slated to be declared by the first week of June 2024, followed by counselling commencing in the second week of June.
