Many local trains are canceled on Burdwan branch till September 2, some trains will not run at all

Third line work will continue between Rasulpur and Shaktigarh. Therefore 120 minutes on Friday (August 26), Saturday (August 27), Sunday (August 28), Tuesday (August 30), Thursday (September 1) and Friday (September 2) on Howrah-Burdwan Up and Down Main Line and Down Chord Line. There will be traffic and power block for up to 180 minutes.

In that situation, Eastern Railway has canceled several pairs of local trains. Some trains have been shortened. The departure time of some trains has also been modified. Find out when and which trains will be cancelled, which trains have been shortened and when and which train timings have changed –

Any train from Burdwan will be cancelled?

  • 37834 Burdwan-Howrah Local (Via Main Line) and 37836 Burdwan-Howrah Local (Via Main Line) will be canceled on 26 August, 27 August, 30 August and 1 September.
  • 36836 Burdwan-Howrah Local (Via Cord Line), 36838 Burdwan-Howrah Local (Via Cord Line) and 36840 Burdwan-Howrah Local (Via Cord Line) will be canceled on 28 August and 2 September.

There will be any train cancellations from Howrah?

  • 37823 Howrah-Burdwan Local (Via Main Line) will be canceled for two days. Today (August 26) and Saturday (August 27) will be cancelled.
  • 36821 Howrah-Burdwan Local (Via Cord Line), 36823 Howrah-Burdwan Local (Via Cord Line) and 36825 Howrah-Burdwan Local (Via Cord Line) will be canceled on 28 August and 2 September.
  • Two trains will remain canceled on 30 August and 1 September – 37823 Howrah-Burdwan Local (Via Main Line) and 37825 Howrah-Burdwan Local (Via Main Line).

Will any train times change?

  • 13028 Down Kabiguru Express will depart from Azimganj at 10:15 am instead of 7:55 am on Saturday (August 27).
  • 37838 Burdwan-Howrah Local (Via Main Line) will leave Burdwan at 2:00 PM instead of 1:40 PM on Saturday (August 27).

Which stations will have shorter journeys?

  • 37825 Howrah-Burdwan Local (Via Main Line) will run till 26th August and 27th August Memory. On the way back, it will leave for Howrah at 12:51 PM.
  • Next Tuesday (August 30) 31151 will run up to Sealda-Burdwan local bandel. 31152 will depart from Burdwan-Sealda local bandel.
  • 13015 Up Jamalpur Express (departure on 26th and 27th August) will be controlled for 40 minutes till memory.
