In Kerala’s Kozhikode, an argument broke out between two passengers over boarding an express train on Sunday. The dead, including a woman, child and a man, were recovered from the tracks at Elathur railway station late last night, police said.

Soon after the incident, the accused fled from the spot. However, a case has been registered against the accused and search is on for him. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital in Kozhikode, where they are undergoing treatment.

All three dead bodies found on the train track
Police said that the incident took place on the Alappuzha-Kannur Executive Express at 9:45 pm on Sunday night. As soon as the train crossed Kozhikode, two people had a fight over some issue and one person set the other passenger on fire. Due to this, other passengers stopped the train by pulling the chain and informed the police about the incident.

The passengers told the police that a woman and a child were missing from the train. When the police started searching for both, the bodies of a woman, a child and a man were found on the tracks of Elathur railway station.
