A fire broke out in a 20-storey building in Mumbai on Saturday morning. 4 people died in this accident. Both those who lost their lives were elderly. At the same time, 19 people got burnt. Among them 6 are elderly. The fire broke out on the 19th floor of Kamala Society building in Taddev area.
It is being told that it was extinguished after about 5 hours of effort. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Condition of 3 out of 19 critical
According to the Mumbai administration, relief workers had a hard time reaching inside due to the smoke. 19 people were rescued. The administration has admitted 15 people to Bhatia Hospital. The condition of 3 is critical. He has been kept in ICU. Rest 12 people are injured. All are being treated in the general ward.
The fire broke out on the 199th floor of Kamla Society, a building in Tardeo area.
Earlier, 4 people who were seriously injured were taken to Nair Hospital, out of which two people were declared brought dead. The remaining two are undergoing treatment. Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said that some people were having trouble breathing due to the smoke. Now his condition is fine.

According to fire brigade officials, there was a level three fire in the building. It was so severe that it took 13 fire tenders to extinguish it.
