Mahesh Babu will work with SS Rajamouli in his next film.
Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli are coming together for SSMB 29. Reports have been doing the rounds that the film will be India’s ‘Indiana Jones’.
Earlier this year, director SS Rajamouli introduced actor Mahesh Babu to his fans in Japan and spoke about his next project, SSMB 29. Rajamouli revealed that the film is in “the pre-production process”. Now, as per a new report, Mahesh Babu will be limiting his public appearances to keep the look of the upcoming movie “under wraps”.
“Mahesh Babu will be having a certain look in the film, which is unlike anything he has done before,” a source informed Pinkvilla. “Over the years, SS Rajamouli has surprised the audience with the presentation of stars in his films and his next will be no different. Mahesh Babu too will be going the extra mile and not just work on his body language for the performance, but also work closely with the director on the look.”
The source further said that the Telugu superstar will also be undergoing acting workshops and training in new forms of action. “He will be cutting down on his public appearances to keep the look under wraps. The work is going on in full swing to take the film on floors by October this year. Several titles are also being considered, but knowing Rajamouli, nothing would be locked till the last minute to keep the intrigue intact,” the source added.
Sharing an update on the movie, Rajamouli earlier said, “We completed the writing and we are in the pre-production process. But we haven’t finished the casting yet. Only hero is locked, his name is Mahesh Babu. He is a very good actor. Many of you know him. He is very handsome. Hopefully, we finish the film a little bit fast and during the release I will bring him here.”
SSMB 29 has already generated a massive buzz. Reports have been doing the rounds that SSMB 29 will be India’s ‘Indiana Jones’. According to reports, Mahesh Babu’s character in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film is inspired by Lord Hanuman. Writer Vijayendra Prasad, who has penned the story of the film, revealed in his interview that the makers would be roping in Hollywood actors for an action-adventure set in Africa.
