IMD has issued a red alert in 6 districts of the state and an orange alert in 7 districts. The rains don’t seem to be ceasing in the state, causing even more distress in the lives of the people residing in these districts. The water levels of rivers have risen considerably and are now overflowing and causing flooding iin the nearby low-lying areas.
