There has been a stir in the education department as soon as the matter of making girls clean toilets in a school came to the fore in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district on Thursday, prompting state panchayat minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia to order a probe, as reported by news agency PTI. “We have taken the matter very seriously and are probing the issue. Action will be taken against those found guilty in the matter,” the education department’s deputy director, Chandra Shekhar Sisodia, said.
The latest incident occurred in the primary secondary school of Chakdevpur village in the district, said an official as quoted by PTI. When the girls were cleaning the toilets, the headmaster was not in the school as she had gone to attend the meeting.
