Opposition leader Shuvendu Adhikari, Chief Whip Manoj Tigga, Natabari MLA Mihir Goswami, Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh, Purulia MLA Sudip Mukherjee and Falakata MLA Deepak Borman were suspended by the Speaker a few days ago. Due to this, these BJP MLAs will not be able to attend the upcoming meetings of the committees. As a result, the legislators will not get a monthly allowance of Rs 60,000. A letter in this regard has also been sent to the concerned suspended MLAs. The suspended legislators approached the governor. In this context, this time the governor sent a letter to the assembly.

It may be mentioned that on March 26, the last day of the session, the people’s representatives of the BJP got into a scuffle with the Trinamool MLAs in the assembly hall. As a result, Manoj Tigger, the chief whip of the BJP parliamentary party, tore his shirt. His chest was reportedly injured. Meanwhile, Asit Majumdar, a Trinamool MLA from Chunchura, had a runny nose. Asitbabu alleged that opposition leader Shuvendu Adhikari had blown his nose. In this atmosphere, BJP MLAs were suspended. There is no end to the political turmoil.
