Such a discussion took place in the Supreme Court

Advocate Dar said that the students of Medical College of Odessa are trapped. They have crossed the Romania border. There are 250 students there without money and food items. There has been no flight from India for the last six days.

CJI Ramanna: What will the court do in this? Can I instruct the President of Russia to stop the war? I saw some videos on social media saying what the CJI is doing! We sympathize with them.

Lawyer Dar: Most of the students are girls. All those people are chilling in minus temperature. 30 girl students are stuck without food on the border of Ukraine for about 6 days. We have to take care of them.

CJI Ramanna: Who’s to take care? The government is already doing it. We will ask the AG to find out. The matter is being immediately placed before the Attorney General.

AG Venugopal: The PM has spoken to both Mr Putin and Mr Zelensky. On this, Attorney General KK Venugopal told the Supreme Court – Center has sent 4 ministers, so that the students can safely return. These ministers are airlifting students from countries bordering Ukraine.
