Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed on Friday that the CBI will arrest Deputy CM Manish Sisodia on Sunday. This has been confirmed by his sources. He said this at ABP Network’s Ideas of India Summit. He said that CBI has called Manish Sisodia for questioning. Our source informs that he will be arrested on Sunday. This is very sad.

He said the CBI raided Sisodia’s residence and searched his bank lockers, raided his office, properties in his village, but found nothing. Sisodia instilled hope for a better future for crores of poor children of the country.

Appreciating the Deputy CM for improving the education system in Delhi, Kejriwal said that Manish Sisodia is the person who after 75 years of independence has given hope to the poor people of this country that their children can also have a good future. In Delhi, the children of the poor are becoming doctors, engineers and lawyers. He claimed that a conspiracy has been hatched to defame such a person by implicating him in a false case.

Kejriwal said he first met Sisodia on December 29, 1999, when he was working in the Income Tax Department. If you arrest them on false charges and put them in jail, how will the country progress? If the king of a country will be sent to jail, who is going to give education to poor children in that country and then will hand over the whole country to two or four friends. Then how will the country move forward?

Earlier, Sisodia was called for questioning on February 19.
Significantly, Sisodia had said on Monday that the CBI has called him on February 26 for questioning in the Delhi Liquor Excise Policy case. Earlier, the CBI had asked Sisodia to appear for questioning on February 19.
