The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is expected to release the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) results 2024 soon. As per media reports, the results could be declared today, May 23. KEA had earlier announced that the KCET 2024 results would be published only after the announcement of the Karnataka 2nd PUC exam 2 2024 and the agriculture practical test results.

Now, the results of Karnataka 2nd PUC exam 2 have been announced on May 21. A total of 1,49,824 students registered for the term 2 exams of which 1,48,942 appeared and 52,505 passed taking the overall pass percentage to 35.25 per cent. Hence, KEA is expected to release the KCET scorecards anytime soon.

Meanwhile, KEA has extended the last date to enter the class 12 marks to May 25. Students who have passed class 12 from CBSE, CISCE, and IGCSE and are yet to enter their class 12 marks may do so from today, 4 pm till May 25, up to 5:30 pm.

Candidates who participated in the exam can access their results online on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, once out. Upon the announcement of results, candidates are advised to have their registration number readily available and ensure that all entered information is accurate to prevent any discrepancies.

The entrance exam for Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses took place on April 18 and 19, with the Kannada Language Test conducted on April 20. The opportunity to challenge the preliminary answer key was available from April 30 to May 7. According to the statistics shared by KEA, a total of 3.27 lakh candidates participated in the exam.

The KCET rank is determined based on the marks obtained in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry subjects in both the KCET exam and the qualifying examination, with equal weightage given to each. After the declaration of KCET results 2024, KEA will provide information regarding the counselling procedure. The examination is conducted for students seeking admission to various undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, and pharmacy offered by colleges across Karnataka.
