Pyaar Ka Punchnama was Kartik Aaryan’s debut film.

Kartik Aaryan’s monologue from Pyaar Ka Punchnama garnered the actor lots of love and fame.

Kartik Aaryan is one of the biggest names of the Indian industry today and it wasnt long ago when he first became a viral sensation across the country with his impressive delivery of an extremely long monologue in his film Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, just eight years ago.

After that impressive feat, Kartik recently once again went on to create a record for his upcoming film, Chandu Champion where it was reported that Kabir shot an 8 minute long single-shot war sequence with Kartik and team in Kashmir’s Aru Valley.

The young superstar has shown a wide range of characters over the years giving many superhit films but the craze behind the “monologue” from 8 years ago continues to have its own separate charm with references in various films, fans recreating the monologue, Kartik being asked to recreate it at interviews and events and a feast of memes inspired by him and what not.

Chandu Champion is a sports drama the shooting of which will take place over the next six months. While the final release date of the film has not been decided as of now, it is likely to hit theatres in June next year. “Though the film is a sports drama on the outlook of things, there are many elements that require good vfx time, and hence, Kabir will be keeping a good amount of time for the post-production. Both Kabir and Sajid are confident that the film will be a landmark in their career,” the source added.

The film will mark Kartik and Kabir’s first association and the second one with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It’s indeed a big announcement coming in as the three giants of the industry will be coming together to bring an interesting real-life story of a sportsperson. Chandu Champion is all set for its grand release in June 2024.

Meanwhile, Kartik is currently enjoying the success of SatyaPrem Ki Katha. The film marked Kartik’s second collaboration with Kiara Advani after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Besides Kiara and Kartik, the film also starred Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania in key roles. The movie is jointly produced by Nadiiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures.
