Kamlesh Tiwari’s real name was Laxmikant Tiwari. Following the ideology of hardcore Hindutva, he started the Muslim Quit India movement in Sitapur. After this the police arrested him. After his release from jail, he joined the Hindu Mahasabha.
In December 2015, he gave a controversial statement regarding Prophet Mohammad. After this there was a lot of uproar in the whole country. In Kaliachak, West Bengal, 2.5 lakh Muslims took out a protest rally against him and attacked the police station. Just before the assembly elections in 2017, the Hindu Samaj Party was formed. After that he started expanding his own party.
On the day of the murder, he was sitting in the house located in Khurshedbagh, Lucknow as usual. The security given by the government was withdrawn. Some people were about to come to meet. Ashfaq and Moinuddin from Surat in Gujarat reached Kamlesh Tiwari’s house at 2 pm with saffron kurtas and a box of sweets in hand.
Kamlesh called from the first floor to come upstairs. Both reached up. At that time, Kamlesh sent his assistant downstairs to bring some things. Then both of them opened the box of sweets and took out the knife kept in it and attacked.

He was stabbed 15 times with a knife between the jaw and the chest. Then shot in the head with a pistol. After this, both the killers reached Khalsa Inn Hotel in Hussainganj. Changed clothes there and reached the station directly. There he sat in the car of Bareilly. When the killers reached Rajasthan, they called at home regarding the arrangement of money. The Gujarat ATS traced the phone and caught the two on 22 October. Both the killers are currently lodged in Naini jail.
There was an uproar after the murder. Kamlesh Tiwari’s supporters blocked traffic at various places. Senior officers reached Kamlesh Tiwari’s house and asked for all possible help. At that time, it was said by the government that the elder son of Kamlesh Tiwari would be given a government job. The family will be given complete security, home and financial help.

I had to pay Rs 30,000. None of the boys in our house are ready to go and live there.”
CM Yogi was giving 5 lakh rupees After the murder of Kamlesh, the ruckus was increasing all over Lucknow. Meanwhile, the family demanded jobs for two members of the family by keeping the dead body of Kamlesh in front of them. Kiran said that she will not get her husband cremated until Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself comes here. Kiran also said that if the UP government does not accept her demand, she will commit self-immolation. However, later Yogi made an appointment to meet him. We mentioned that meeting of CM Yogi. Asked what the CM had said at that time. Kiran says, “The CM had asked for all possible help. He was asking to give Rs 5 lakh. The people from our side refused. After that we got Rs 15 lakh. With this 15 lakh we fought the case. We are teaching children. 4 years have passed but we have not got anything.”

went to high court for son’s job but did not get
A total of 9 promises were made by the DM and administrative officials who came to support Kamlesh’s family. It was written at number 5 that Kamlesh Tiwari’s elder son Satyam Tiwari will be given a government job. 4 years have passed, but still haven’t got a job. Kiran says we have no business, no source of income, so it was expected that if elder son gets a job, it will be good. But even after 4 years, could not get a job till date.
Kiran further says, “I filed a petition in the High Court for the son’s job. At that time it was said that it would be done in 3 months, but the answer came from the government that we do not have a job yet.”
We asked what is the reason for not giving the job? On this, she says that the government thinks that if the job is given then the son will get the salary. This will strengthen our Hindu Samaj Party. That’s why they are not giving job.

Regarding those threats, she says, even today she is scared about the children. When he goes out somewhere, the mind is fixed on him till he comes back. We are not afraid of anyone. We have decided to take forward the ideology of Tiwari ji, no matter what happens, we will not back down.
