The police have so far arrested 329 people on charges of violence in Kallakuruchi.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday heard a petition related to the postmortem of the girl who committed suicide in Tamil Nadu’s Kallakuruchi. The petition was filed by the girl’s father and asked that his daughter’s second postmortem be ordered to be stopped. There was a demand to keep doctors who have been selected by the father in the postmortem panel.

Police is also investigating social media groups
Meanwhile, the police probing the case said that the role of social media is visible in instigating the violence that took place after the suicide. Police said photographs of hostels, photographs of blood-stained walls and posts of youth gathering may have instigated the crowd. Police said that we are also investigating whether some group is not involved behind this and whether there was any anger about the school in the past.

Court asked father – do you not trust HC
The Supreme Court dismissed this petition. The court said that the Madras High Court has already given its verdict on this. SC asked the father whether you do not have faith in the High Court. The postmortem of the girl’s body is to be done again today. The girl’s father had told the Madras High Court that doctors selected by us should also be included in the postmortem.

The High Court, while dismissing the petition, said that this petition was not filed for any valid reason. This is mentioned for the first time while filing the document. There is no mention of this in the petition.

The High Court had said that we have full sympathies with the family of the girl. But, the doctors selected by them at this stage are not necessarily included in the postmortem. After this, the High Court handed over the investigation of this case to the CB-CID.

Two teachers were accused in the suicide note
In fact, Srimathy, a Class 12 student of a private school at Chinna Salem in Kallakurichi, committed suicide by jumping from the top floor of the hostel on the night of July 12. On the morning of July 13, when the watchman saw the girl’s body, he informed the school management and the police. The girl was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was declared brought dead.

In the suicide note found by the police, the girl has accused two teachers of the school of harassing her and some students by forcing her to study all the time.
