It’s Durga Puja time and celebrities are spotted doing pandal hopping in the city. Many photos and videos are going viral on social media. Today, Kajol and Jaya Bachchan were also seen at the Durga Puja pandal. Both were looking beautiful in saree but it reminded us of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The actresses were seen in the lead role in the film. Veteran actress Tanuja, sister Tanishaa, cousin Sharbani, and Kajol’s son Yug were also spotted at the pandal.
In the videos, shared by filmygyan, we can see Kajol wearing a yellow saree while Jaya Bachchan was also clicked at the pandal. She happily posed with her Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham co-star Kajol at the festivities. They were seen discussing something as they got ready for the camera. On Instagram, Kajol shared photos from her festivities and she wrote, “1st day of pujo.. It’s when families come together in celebration.. Here’s to praying and thanking the Goddess for everything she bestowed..”

On Saturday, Kajol was captured greeting attendees at a puja pandal in Mumbai. However, she lost her balance while engrossed in her phone. Mistakenly thinking there was a step, she walked ahead and fell, attempting to grab onto her sister Tanisha Mukerji for support. For Maha Saptami, the actress opted for a fuchsia pink saree with a matching blouse featuring mirrorwork detailing. She accessorised the look with flowers in her bun and jhumkas. She offered prayers to Ma Durga and posed for the paps.
Talking about work front, Jaya Bachchan was recently seen in in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. The film also starred Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. The film, which released in July, emerged as a hit at the box office.
Kajol was last seen in the web series The Trial. Before that, she was featured in the Netflix anthology film Lust Stories 2. She also starred in Salaam Venky, co-starring Vishal Jethwa and Aamir Khan (in a cameo appearance). She will next be seen in Do Patti along with national award winner Kriti Sanon.
