hear the news

On one hand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is trying to unite his party along with the country through Bharat Jodo Yatra, while on the other hand, the internal discord of the party in different states is not ending. In Rajasthan, the news of dispute between CM Gehlot and Sachin Pilot keeps on coming to the fore, but now a case of internal discord has come to the fore in Jharkhand Congress.

There is a war of words between the party leadership and former spokespersons. In fact, the Jharkhand Congress leadership had taken disciplinary action against three former spokespersons Alok Dubey, Lal Kishore Nath Shahdev, Rajesh Gupta and another leader Sadhusharan Gope. Under this, a recommendation was made to the central leadership to expel them from the party for six years, after which the four leaders came out vocally against the local leadership.

Questions raised on the state president
After the action of the state president, the four leaders held a press conference and raised many questions on the disciplinary committee and the state president. Senior leader Alok Dubey said, we have served the Congress party for 32 years. He said, people from other parties are today humiliating the loyal workers of the Congress party. The state president is taking such a decision because of his personal enmity and arrogance. A biased decision has been taken against us, he said. People working against the ideology of the party were given important positions, it is a matter of investigation.

There was also a dispute over the formation of committees.
In December 2022, the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee constituted district and block level committees. There was a lot of controversy after minorities were not given place in this list, after which the second list was released and minority district heads were appointed in four districts. After this, this dispute was also seen during Bharat Jodo Yatra, when two groups of workers clashed with each other in front of State President Rajesh Thakur.
