The Enforcement Directorate is tightening its grip on Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in the illegal mining scam. He is to appear before ED officials on Thursday (tomorrow) for questioning. However, Soren is also not taking the name of backing down. It is now reported that UPA MLAs have called a meeting today before questioning. Further strategy has to be discussed in this.

Let me tell you, Hemant Soran had demanded ED officials to be questioned on 16th November instead of 17th November. However, the ED rejected this demand. Earlier on November 3, he was summoned by the probe agency, in which Soren did not turn up. After this, instead of sending summons, he challenged the ED to arrest him.

Soren demanded postponement of summons for three weeks
Earlier, Hemant Soren had demanded ED to postpone the questioning for three weeks. However, the ED turned down his demand. He has a pending money laundering probe related to an illegal mining case in Sahebganj district.

Soren targeted the center
Earlier, Soren targeted the central government. He said, after facing defeat in the elections four times, the central government is using the investigative agencies in a wrong way. This is his frustration. Every single voter of Jharkhand will give an answer to the opposition.
