Jharkhand: Minor gang-raped in Gumla, three youths kidnapped girl from fair on the strength of arms, accused arrested

After reaching Sisai police station 12 hours after the incident, the girl narrated her ordeal. The victim told the police that she kept on screaming during the incident. Despite this, the accused did not show mercy. It is said that all the three accused are also minors.

The victim had gone to visit the Laha Tongri fair on Thursday, saying that she would go to her friend’s house. From the fair itself, the three accused kidnapped her on the strength of weapons. The accused Mahua Toli brought the girl to the forest by making the girl sit on the bike. All three gang-raped her.

During this, the victim somehow saved her life by running away from there. The whole night kept hiding here and there from the sight of the poor. She reached her home after dawn. Due to public shame and threats from the accused, the girl did not inform anyone about the incident on the first day.

The next day the girl told the whole thing to the family members. Reached the police station with family members. Told the whole matter. After this, the police immediately registered an FIR in the matter. In this regard, Sisai station in-charge Ravi Honghanga said that the incident of gang-rape of a minor on the basis of weapon has happened. As soon as the written complaint was received in the police station, an FIR was registered and all the three accused were arrested.

A case of gang rape of a minor girl has come to light in Jharkhand’s Gumla district. The incident is of Mahua Toli forest of Sisai police station area. It is alleged that three minor youths abducted a minor girl resident of Ghaghra police station area from the fair on the strength of weapons, then all the accused made a forcible relationship by threatening to kill her.
