The wall of an under-construction factory collapsed due to the collision of a JCB in Jharkhand’s Giridih on Monday. Three people, including a woman laborer, are reported to have died due to being buried under the debris. The condition of another woman laborer is said to be critical and she has been referred to Dhanbad.

Two masons have also lost their lives in this accident that took place at around 3.30 pm in Muffasil area. The deceased have been identified as Nazrul, a resident of Abantand, Shahabuddin, a resident of Shrirampur, and Babita Kumari, a resident of Gangapur. Babita’s age is said to be less than 18 years. The injured woman has been identified as Sheela Devi.

It is feared that some more people may be trapped under the debris. Relief and rescue operations are on. The relatives of the deceased are demanding compensation of Rs 50 lakh each. There is also a demand to register an FIR against the owners of the company. In view of the situation, heavy police force has been deployed.

Container vehicle collided with bus in Ramgarh, many injured
On the other hand, a horrific road accident took place in Ramgarh in the state on Monday morning. A container vehicle rammed a bus going from Siwan in Bihar to Ranchi on the National Highway in Chutupali Valley at around 4 am. More than two dozen people have been injured in the accident, of which eight have suffered serious injuries.

The injured passengers have been referred to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi. Traffic on this route was disrupted for about an hour after the accident. According to the information, the speed of the container vehicle was very fast and it was also coming from the wrong direction. The container driver and the helper fled after the accident.
