Jharkhand: Crude bomb thrown at Bajrang Dal worker in Chakradharpur, death in hospital, CRPF called for vigilance

A Bajrang Dal worker was killed by a country-made bomb in West Singhbhum district on Saturday evening. According to the police, the incident took place at Bharat Bhawan Chowk in Chakradharpur city.

According to the police, motorcycle-borne men hurled a country-made bomb at Banjarang Dal worker Kamal Devgiri. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Shekhar said, the matter is being investigated. Both the accused are yet to be identified.

After the murder of Devagiri, his supporters reached the spot and gathered. Shops remained closed at Bharat Bhawan Chowk to remain busy. CRPF has been called in to maintain law and order in the area, police said.
