Mrunal Thakur is the latest Bollywood celebrity to test positive for Covid-19. On Saturday, January 1, the Super 30 actress took to social media to inform her fans and followers that she has tested positive for the novel coronavirus and has isolated herself.
MRUNAL THAKUR TESTS COVID POSITIVE
Mrunal Thakur will be seen next in Jersey. On Saturday, January 1, the actress took to her Instagram stories that she is Covid positive. She wrote, “I have tested positive for Covid-19. As of today, I have mild symptoms but I’m feeling ok and have isolated myself. I am following the protocol given by my doctor and health professionals (sic).”

Mrunal asked those who have come in contact with her recently to get themselves tested for Covid-19. She further added, “If you have been in contact with me, request you to please get tested immediately. Stay safe everyone.”
Mrunal Thakur’s upcoming film Jersey, opposite Shahid Kapoor, was scheduled to release on December 31. However, due to a surge in Covid-19 cases, the release date was postponed. The makers issued an official statement confirming the same. The official statement read, “In view of the current circumstances and new covid guidelines we have decided to postpone the theatrical release of our film Jersey. We have received immense love from you all so far and want to thank you all for everything. Until then everyone please stay safe and healthy, and wishing you all the best for the new year ahead!! Team Jersey!!”
