Prajwal Revanna, grandson of former prime minister H D Deve Gowda, was suspended from Janata Dal (Secular) over the sex tape scandal in Karnataka.
“We welcome SIT against Prajwal Revanna. We’ve taken a decision to recommend our party’s national president to suspend him from the party till the SIT investigation is completed, “said, JD(S) core committee president GT Deve Gowda.
Video clips allegedly showing JDS chief and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda’s grandson Prajwal Revanna indulging in sexual acts with several women including a few government employees circulated in the Hassan district, following which, the Karnataka government ordered a special investigation team (SIT) to probe into the matter.
Prajwal Revnna is the grandson of JD(S) chief and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda’s grandson. JD(S) is a part of the NDA alliance in the state. Prajwal, 33, is the NDA candidate in the Hassan Lok Sabha constituency.
