She has been active for many years and has a huge fan following among Bhojpuri-speaking audiences. She has done some TV serials as well and has gained immense popularity from there. Apart from that, the actress is quite popular on social media and is often seen giving updates about her personal and professional lives. Recently, the actress was spotted attending an event on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi in Uttar Pradesh. But, soon she found herself in a controversy that created a ruckus. She had to be escorted from the event.
According to reports, Akshara Singh was seen attending a Ganesh Chaturthi event in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. People had come in large numbers to attend the event, as Akshara is quite popular in those regions. She was called to the stage to sing, and she sang two melodious songs. But when she decided to sing a Bhojpuri song in the end, the crowd got angry. Many people felt that the song talked about obscenity and should not be sung at a religious event. As she started singing, the crowd objected to it and started creating a ruckus. People even began shouting and started throwing chairs on the stage.
As the situation heated, Akshara Singh tried to control them but failed. As per reports, there were around 300 security personnel, but they couldn’t manage the crowd. People even began fighting with each other. Later, she was taken off the stage. As per reports, some people even suffered minor injuries during the event.
The three-day-long Ganesh Chaturthi Mahotsav in Jaunpur was also attended by Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. He performed the day after Akshara’s event. The Bhojpuri actress shared a picture with the rapper and captioned it, “A true artist and an even better human being. Thank you for the wonderful time, @yoyohoneysingh.”
Akshara Singh also participated in the first season of Bigg Boss OTT. She received a lot of love from the audience and performed well in the show.
