Ishani Singh Jambal of Kullu, Himachal has scaled the 7200 meter high Mount Cho Oyu Peak between Nepal and China. This peak is the sixth highest and most difficult peak in the world from the south side. As far as Kullu’s success has been achieved in reaching Ishani. She has reportedly become the only woman among climbers around the world to reach the maximum height of the extremely challenging south side of Mount Cho Oyu.

Ishani said: Challenged myself

Ishani said that she was able to challenge herself and climb to her pinnacle for the country. Ishani said that her aim is to promote mountaineering as an adventure and also requested the government to financially support mountaineers for national and international expeditions.

Ishani’s father appeals

Ishani’s father Shakti Singh and mother Nalini Jambal said that they are proud of their daughter and have appealed to the government to encourage such adventurous children.
