IS retaliates against Nupur’s attack on Kabul gurdwara

Militants stormed a gurdwara in the Afghan capital, Kabul, on Saturday. The ISIS militant group claimed responsibility for the attack. The militant group said the attack was carried out in retaliation for “insulting” the Prophet Mohammad. Earlier, India was shocked by Nupurash Sharma’s controversial remarks about Hazrat Mohammad. Violence spread to several states, including West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. IS Khorasan then warned of ‘revenge’ in the wake of the BJP’s suspended leader’s remarks.

The Islamic State of Khorasan had warned of an attack on Hindus in the wake of Nupurash Sharma’s controversial remarks about Hazrat Mohammad. In the wake of this controversy, Islamic State Khorasan recently released a 10-minute video about India. The video highlights Nupur Sharma’s insulting remarks. Besides, the incident of running a bulldozer in Jahangirpuri of Delhi was also mentioned in the video of the militant organization. The terrorist organization threatened to attack Hindus to avenge the Prophet’s insult. The video also criticized the Islamic State Taliban.

In this atmosphere, Islamic State terrorists attacked the Karte Parwan Gurudwara on Saturday morning. One security guard and one gland were killed in the attack. It is learned that when the militants attacked the Gurudwara, 25 to 30 Sikhs and Hindus were inside the Gurudwara for prayers. Some agreed to flee after the attack. However, many are stuck there. Three Taliban fighters were reportedly wounded in the attack. Earlier, India had offered to rescue the Sikhs of Parwan Gurudwara in Karte from Afghanistan. However, the Sikhs did not agree to leave Afghanistan.
