Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is set to launch its latest flagship smartphone iQOO 12 in India on December 12. The successor of iQOO 11 is already confirmed to arrive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, Android 14 version out of the box, triple rear camera setup and much more. However, just weeks ahead of the iQOO 12 5G India launch, a new leak has revealed the price of the upcoming device.
Tipster Mukul Sharma recently took to micro-blogging platform X and revealed the retail box image of the iQOO 12 5G. The leaked information suggests that the smartphone will be priced in the range of Rs. 50,999 to Rs. 59,999, with a maximum retail price (MRP) of Rs. 56,999.
The iQOO 12 5G is expected to be offered in two storage configurations: 12GB RAM + 256GB and 16GB RAM + 512GB. Interested buyers will be able to purchase the iQOO 12 5G through the Amazon platform.
The company has also assured no pre-installed bloatware, and three years of Android updates. The iQOO 12 5G will come in two colour options — white and black with the BMW branding.
The iQOO 12 series will be the first to feature Qualcomm’s most powerful processor in India. As per the details available, iQOO 12 could feature a 144Hz OLED display with a 3000 nits of peak brightness, one of the best in the market. The phone is offered with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage but in India we expect the brand to offer a 12GB and 256GB variant to keep the price competitive.
It is rumoured that the phone will pack a 5000mAh battery that will support 120W wired fast charging but wireless charging might be missing once again.
The smartphone was recently launched in China. The iQOO 12 5G Chinese model has a triple rear camera setup, including a 64MP periscope telephoto 100X digital zoom and a 50MP Ultra wide-angle sensor. For selfies and video chats, it features a 16MP sensor.
