First made double preparations by identifying the comrades: Punjab Police decided 20 days ago that action would be taken against Amritpal. In which the biggest challenge was his armed supporters. Punjab Police formed a team of Intelligence. After which Amritpal’s associates were traced. A full report was prepared of the armed men accompanying Amritpal’s convoy.

On the basis of this, the Punjab Police made its double preparations. In which Water Cannon, Tear Gas, Anti Riot Force and Punjab Armed Police were prepared to deal with the violence. The police also needed the Central Force to stop the violence. This is the reason why the Punjab Police arrested all the armed men along with Amritpal on the very first day. Jalandhar Police Commissioner Kuldeep Chahal said that both the vehicles of Amritpal, along with all the armed men accompanying them, have been caught.

Know… Why did the Punjab Police choose March 18?
There are two main reasons why the Punjab Police chose March 18 as the day to carry out Operation Amritpal. Firstly… Amritpal’s Khalsa Wahir was stopped at Muktsar. He had to start it again from 19 March. If the police had not taken action earlier, then the situation could have worsened due to the gathering of a large number of supporters there. Therefore, this was a major reason for the police to take action against Amritpal from March 19.

Second reason… G20 meeting was going on in Punjab. Its main meeting was to be held in Amritsar on 17 March. As soon as this meeting ended successfully on March 17, the Punjab Police took action the next day. Since Amritsar is the main base of Amritpal Singh, this became a major reason for stopping the action till March 17.

Amritpal remained in discussion due to these controversial statements
Amritpal had threatened Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Amritpal had said that what happened to Indira Gandhi when she suppressed the Sikhs? Amit Shah also press and see. In the second statement, Amritpal had said that he does not consider himself an Indian citizen. He definitely has an Indian passport but it is just a travel document.
