These peptides often possess antimicrobial properties, which can help inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms in a dog’s body, thus supporting a healthy microbial balance.”
In addition, they have demonstrated anti-inflammatory effects, making them potentially beneficial for dogs with conditions such as arthritis. Furthermore, insect peptides can contain antioxidant properties, which can scavenge free radicals and protect cells from oxidative damage, thereby supporting the immune system. Insect oil, on the other hand, contains a balanced ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are essential for maintaining healthy skin, coat, and cellular function in dogs.
