NEW DELHI : In the National Safety Conference of the Indian Railways S&T Maintainers Union “Indian Railways S&T Maintainers’ Union” (IRSTMU), once again demanding Ricks and Hardship Allowance, reminding the difficult work system of signal and telecom employees Raised. In the National Safety Convention organized at Convention Centre, NDMC, New Delhi, the leaders of IRSTMU called upon the employees to keep fighting on every platform and be ready for a new revolution in the coming days if their demands are not met.

In the National Safety Conference, AM. (Telecom) Smt. Aruna Singh said that Indian Railways will be given communication system equipped with world class facilities at the earliest. He said that there will be improvement in the functioning of signal and telecom employees and their demands will be taken up soon. On the other hand, AM Signal insisted on the organization of S&T department and IRSTMU and told that they are with S&T in this fight and the fight for justice will be fought with S&T in Risk and Hardship Allowance and restructuring and very soon good news will be heard.

In the “National Safety Conference”, National President of IRSTMU Naveen Kumar proposed to keep the technician cadre in only two parts Junior Technician and Senior Technician in restructuring S&T employees and demanded to give Level – lll (GP – 2000) to Assistant Technicians Of. He apprised the Signal and Telecom employees in detail about their difficult working method and the problem of working 24 hours. Naveen Kumar said that in the last few years, after the engineering department, the maximum number of signal and telecommunication employees have lost their lives accidentally during work. Therefore, S&T employees should be given Ricks and Hardship Allowance as soon as possible. More than 540 employees from different divisions had reached the seminar.
