The Indian Coast Guard has started inviting applications for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants. The last date to apply for the Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2023 is February 9, 2023, till 05:00 PM. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 71 vacancies for the post of Assistant Commandant in the Indian Coast Guard. The 71 Assistant Commandant posts on offer include Assistant Commandant – General Duty, Commercial Pilot Licence (Cpl-Ssa), Technical (Engineering & Electrical/Electronics) & Law For 01/2024 batch.
The online application fee for the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023 is Rs 250 for all candidates except candidates from the SC/ST category who are exempted from paying the application fee.

The shortlisting of candidates for the Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2023 will be done based on a four-stage selection procedure. Candidates will be first required to appear for a Screening Test, followed by the Preliminary Selection Board, Final Selection Board, and Medical Examination.
The Indian Coast Guard Screening Test 2023 will be a computer-based exam with a time duration of 120 minutes. The exam paper will have 100 questions and a total of 400 marks. The paper will consist of 25 questions in each of its four sections: English, Reasoning and Numerical Ability, General Science and Mathematical Aptitude, and General Knowledge.
