Jasprit Bumrah was in top form and took his first five-wicket haul in India. During this, R Ashwin and Mohammed Shami took two wickets each. Earlier, India were bowled out for 252, with Shreyas Iyer missing out on a century. The batsman scored 92 runs in 98 balls, which included 10 fours and four sixes.
