The last of the 36 Rafale aircraft purchased from France has also landed on Indian soil on Thursday. With this, this consignment of Rafale coming from France to India was completed. The Air Force has given this information by tweeting on Thursday. It has been said in the tweet – feet droid, pack complete! The last of the 36 Rafale aircraft landed in India via a high-speed route through a UAE Air Force tanker.

The deal was done for 59 thousand crores
India had signed an agreement in 2016 for the purchase of 36 Rafale fighter planes from France for 7.87 billion euros, which is about 59 thousand crore rupees. By February 2022, India had received 35 Rafales. Five aircraft landed at Ambala Air Force Station in July 2020 in the first batch of Rafale aircraft, considered a gamechanger for the country’s security.

Rafale is also manufactured by Dassault Aviation, a French company that manufactures Mirage. Rafale is one of the most advanced fighter planes in the world, capable of carrying many lethal weapons and missiles. It is deployed at the strategically important Ambala Air Force Station for the Indian Army, which is close to both Pakistan and China in terms of distance.

Three types of missiles can be installed in Rafale
Rafale is known for its speed, weapon carrying capacity and attack capability. It comes with both single and dual seater options. India has bought 28 single and 8 dual seater Rafale. Rafale has a strike range of 3,700 km. Three types of missiles can be installed in it. Meteor air-to-air missiles, Scalp and Hammer air-to-ground missiles.

Rafale can reach a height of 300 meters in just one second as soon as it starts. That is, in a single minute, Rafael reaches a height of 18 thousand meters. Its rate of climb is even better than the modern fighter planes near China-Pakistan.

In many cases, Rafale is better than China’s most powerful fighter plane J20 and Pakistan’s F-16. China’s J20 has no real combat experience, while the French Air Force has used Rafale in Afghanistan, Libya and Mali. At the same time, in the battle of dodging, Rafael can also beat the Pakistani F-16 fighter plane made in America.

Rafale is an omni-role fighter plane, which can be landed on a mountain in a very small space and can also be landed on a warship moving in the sea. Another specialty of Rafale is to fill fuel while flying in the air. Once fuel is filled, it can fly continuously for 10 hours.
