Imran loses 8 wickets in one over on Islamabad’s whirlwind pitch, loses ‘match’ before vote

Many members of his own party have gone against Imran Khan. However, all these assembly members are still members of Imran’s party PTI. In that case, 179 members are said to be in favor of Imran’s government with all the partners in the register. Which is enough for the majority of the country. However, this time Imran Khan lost to a big partner team. On the same day, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari tweeted that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement had joined hands with the opposition. The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has seven members in the Pakistan National Assembly. As a result, Imran’s departure from the throne of Pakistan was confirmed. Now, even if the ‘disgruntled’ members of his party vote for the government, there is no way for Imran to survive.

Note that the magic number in the 342-seat Pak National Assembly is 182. The number of PTI members is 155. However, more than 20 members have already changed camps. In addition, members of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, the Pakistan Muslim League-Qaeda, the Balochistan Awami Party and the Grand Democratic Alliance had a total of 169 members in the coalition government. But this time the Muttahida Qaumi Movement withdrew its support from the Imran government. It is learned that two ministers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement in Imran’s government will resign today. Earlier, the Balochistan Awami Party also withdrew support from the government and joined hands with the opposition. They have 4 members in the Pak National Assembly.

As a result of the change of camp, the government has the support of 184 people (including PTI rebel members). On the other hand, the number of rebels has increased to 165. In this situation, it became impossible for Imran Khan to hold the throne of Pakistan. The no-confidence motion was passed by a 161-member National Assembly of Pakistan on March 26. The no-confidence motion will be discussed on March 31. Within 4 days of the start of the discussion, there should be a vote on the no-confidence motion.
