Image of the day: Tigress Collarwali, mom to 29 cubs, dies in MP’s Pench Tiger Reserve

‘Collarwali’, one of India’s most popular tigresses in the wild, died of old age at the Pench Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday evening.

The legendary tigress was almost 16 years old and had earned the ‘Super Mom’ title by giving birth to a record 29 cubs in eight litters during her lifetime.
