For the academic year 2024-25, roughly 3,000 candidates will be offered admission to IITs, with an additional 2,000 seats at IISc via centralised counselling
The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras) released the response sheet for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT JAM) 2024. The JAM 2024 response sheet has been issued on the JOAPS Portal. Candidates who have appeared for the admission test can now download the response sheet from the official website at jam.iitm.ac.in.
The IIT JAM 2024 was held on February 11 across 100 cities in India. The JAM 2024 was administered for seven papers; which includes Chemistry, Economics, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Geology, Mathematical Statistics, and Physics. As per the schedule, the JAM 2024 results will be declared on March 22. In addition, each test paper will assign candidates an All India Rank (AIR) based on their performance.
IIT JAM 2024 Response Sheet: Check How To Download
Step 1: Go to the official website at jam.iitm.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the ‘JAM 2024 Response Sheet’ link.
Step 3: As a new page opens, enter your email ID, enrolment ID, mobile number, or registration number in the given space.
Step 4: Then key in the password generated (during registration) and solve the arithmetic expression given.
Step 5: The IIT JAM 2024 response sheet will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download and take a printout of it.
Premier institutes across the country use the JAM score for candidates seeking admission to various postgraduate (PG) programmes such as M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech.), MS (Research), and M.Sc. – M.Tech. Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc. – Ph.D., and M.Sc. – Ph.D. Dual Degree, across multiple disciplines.
For the academic year 2024-25, approximately 3,000 candidates will be offered admission to IITs, with an additional 2,000 seats available at IISc via centralised counselling. There will be no additional admissions screenings, such as aptitude tests or interviews. “JAM 2024 Scores will be used to admit the candidates subject to satisfying the ERs and MEQs and any other necessary requirements, without any additional interview or written test,” reads the information brochure.
The online registration for the JAM 2024 exam began on September 5, 2023, and ended on October 20, 2023. The admit card for the same was released on January 8, 2024.
JAM 2024 scores may be used by other institutes, such as JNCASR, IISER Bhopal, IISER Pune, and IIPE. Additional information can be obtained directly from the institute.
