The Indian Air Force also launched the force’s new combat uniform on its 90th anniversary.
For the first time in the country after independence, a new operational branch is being created for the Air Force. The government has approved its construction. This information was given by Air Force Chief VR Choudhary on the occasion of Air Force Day. With the formation of this branch, the government will save more than Rs 3,400 crore by cutting the cost of flying training.
Celebrations are being held at Chandigarh Airbase on the occasion of 90th Raising Day of Indian Air Force. During this, a new uniform was also launched in front of the Air Chief Marshal.

Combat Uniform also found with the new branch
Air Chief Marshal said the Weapon Systems Branch will operate surface-to-surface missiles, surface-to-air missiles, remote pilot aircraft and twin and multi-crew aircraft. VR Choudhary also said that we are launching a new pattern of Combat Uniform for the personnel on the 90th anniversary of the Indian Air Force.

Features of the new uniform
The new uniform of the Indian Air Force is similar to the uniform of the army. Its digital pattern is adaptable to all localities. Which will be comfortable to move soldiers flexibly from places like desert, mountainous land, forest. This uniform has been designed by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
According to an IAF official, “The colors and shades of the new IAF uniform are slightly different, which are more conducive to the working environment of the Air Force.” The uniform is made from lightweight fabric and design, which are comfortable for the soldiers.
Agniveer Vayu training will start from December
During this, Air Chief Marshal also said that IAF will induct 3000 Agniveer Vayu for initial training in December 2022. Also, women Agniveers will be inducted into the Air Force from next year.

Celebrations happening outside Delhi for the first time
