Hyderabad gang rape: Fourth accused caught, fifth still absconding, two more cases of minor raping came to light

Telangana’s Hyderabad Police on Sunday arrested another minor accused in the gang rape case of a 17-year-old minor. So far, four accused, including three minors, have been arrested by the police. The fifth accused is still absconding. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Sundararajan has called for a detailed report from the Chief Secretary and DGP of the state within two days. Here, two more cases of raping a minor have come to light in Hyderabad.

The police have so far arrested three minors and an 18-year-old man in the May 28 incident. Police is looking for the fifth accused who is absconding in this case. It is being said that one of the accused, a minor, is the son of a ruling party MLA. Meanwhile, the Press Secretary to the Governor said on Sunday that the Governor is deeply saddened by this heinous incident. He has asked the Chief Secretary and the DGP to submit a detailed report on the issue within two days.

The BJP and Congress are making a scathing attack on the state’s ruling government led by K Chandrashekhar Rao over this issue. Both the opposition parties demanded that the TRS hand over the matter to the CBI for a fair probe into the matter. BJP MLA M Raghunandan Rao showed some photographs at a press conference and alleged that the AIMIM MLA’s son is also involved in the case.

Two accused arrested in minor rape case
Hyderabad Police has arrested two accused in the rape case of a minor girl. This case has come to the fore after the gang rape of Jubilee Hills. In the new case, the minor girl was missing since May 31 and her relatives complained to the police. During the investigation, the police patrolling team found the minor girl on June 1 at around 5 am.

In her statement, the minor told that she was going to Pahari Sharif to her parents’ house. The accused were identified as cab drivers Sheikh Kalim Ali alias Kaleem and Mohammad Lukman Ahmed Yazdani alias Lukman. The minor told that the accused Kaleem, seeing him alone, asked to leave him somewhere.

The minor talked about going to Shaheen Nagar and said that he has no money to pay. Kalim lured her to drop him home in his car. On the way around 10 o’clock he also made Lukman sit in the car. Both took him to the house of accused Lukman in Kondurg village. There both raped the minor.

Forensic team collected evidence
The forensic team reached Jubilee Hills Police Station on Sunday. He collected evidence from the car used in the gang rape of a 17-year-old girl last week.

Two more cases of raping a minor came to light
Two more cases of rape of a minor girl have come to light in Hyderabad. The first case has been registered at Ramgopalpet police station and the second in Rajendranagar police station area. Inspector Saidulu of Ramgopalpet police station said that we have received a complaint from the Child Welfare Committee that a 23-year-old youth studying in Intermediate in a village has been coaxed and raped. After this complaint, a case has been registered under POCSO Act and other sections.

Along with this, accused Suresh has been arrested in the case. On the other hand, Rajendranagar Circle Inspector Kankaiah said that we received a complaint from a minor girl that a month ago a minor boy raped her inside a theatre. On this complaint, a case has been registered under the relevant sections of the POCSO Act. The juvenile has been sent to the Children’s Correctional Home.
