Honeypreet will be the next head of Dera Sacha Sauda. The reason for this is the tradition of the dera. Actually the main disciple of Gaddinshin in the camp. The throne is given to him. At present Ram Rahim is on the throne of the dera. His main disciple is Honeypreet. Therefore, according to the pre-decided tradition, after Ram Rahim, Honeypreet will be the heir to the throne of the dera.

Know the history of the throne of the dera
- Dera Sacha Sauda was established by Shah Mastana on 29 April 1948 with the permission of his Guru Sant Sawan Singh Maharaj.
- After the death of Shah Mastana, the throne of the dera went to his chief disciple Shah Satnam Singh.
- Shah Satnam Singh held the throne of Sirsa Dera for 27 years. During this visit Gurmeet Singh became his main disciple.
- He handed over the throne on 23 September 1990 by declaring Gurmeet Singh Ram Rahim as his successor in a formal ceremony at Dera Sacha Sauda. Since then till now Ram Rahim is sitting on the throne.
Honeypreet main disciple in all papers
Ram Rahim has now made Honeypreet the main disciple in all the papers of the dera. Honeypreet is Ram Rahim’s daughter of Dharma. He has also made changes in the family identity card. In which no member of his family is named now. Ram Rahim is currently serving his sentence in the Sunaria Jail in Rohtak, Haryana for the sexual abuse of Sadhvi and the murder of journalists Ramchandra Chhatrapati and Ranjit.
Changes in documents made on parole
When Ram Rahim came on parole for the first time in February 2022, he had got the names of his father and family cut off from his Aadhar card to the family identity card. He got the name of his Guru Satnam Singh inscribed in front of his father’s name and got himself marked as his main disciple.
Whereas by not writing the names of his wife and mother in the family identity card, only Honeypreet’s name was marked as the main disciple. The head of Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa becomes the same who is the main disciple of the current Guru.
After the rift with Honeypreet, the family moved to London
Ram Rahim’s entire family has settled abroad. Ram Rahim’s two daughters Amarpreet and Charanpreet Kaur and son Jasmeet have settled in London along with the family. The Dera chief’s mother Naseeb Kaur and wife Harjit Kaur are still in India but their names are no longer in the papers.
Due to Ram Rahim being in jail, Dera Sacha Sauda is devastated. The activities here have come to a standstill. Honeypreet’s name can be announced this time to run them again.
It is believed that Ram Rahim’s family settled abroad due to estrangement with Dera Sacha Sauda management and Honeypreet.
