The 14th Aero India Air Show was inaugurated by PM Modi on 13 February in Bengaluru. HLFT-42 is displayed in the India Pavilion. Earlier the picture of Hanuman ji was affixed on the tail.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has removed the picture of Lord Hanuman from the tail of the HLFT-42 aircraft model displayed at the Aero India 2023 Air Show in Bengaluru. HAL Director Dr. DK Sunil said- ‘The decision to remove the stickers is internal.’

The five-day long event began on Monday at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru, where the model was the center of attention. It had Hanumanji’s photo on its tail. Along with this, a message was also written – The Storm Is Coming (the storm is coming).

75 thousand crore MoU will be signed in 5 days
More than 800 defense companies including about 100 foreign and 700 Indian companies are participating in the air show. During this, 251 MoUs worth 75 thousand crores will be signed.

15 products of HAL have been displayed in this show. Also, for the first time, two American F-35 fighter aircraft were displayed at the Aero India show. Apart from this, the American team has also displayed F-16 and F-18 fighter jets, which will be offered to the Indian Army.

PM had said – this is not just a show, it is the strength of the country

Running from February 13 to 17, the show focuses on showcasing indigenous technology and building partnerships with foreign companies as per the Make in India, Make for the World plan. Its theme is ‘The Runway to a Billion Opportunities’.

During the inauguration of the show, PM Modi said, ‘Earlier it was just an air show, but now it is emerging as the strength of India. For the first time after the Corona period, viewers are also participating in this show.
