An important meeting of Himachal Congress is going on in Chandigarh today on the instructions of All India Congress Committee (AICC). In the meeting that started in the afternoon, a strategy is being prepared for the upcoming assembly elections. In this, important responsibility is being assigned to AICC secretaries of all the 12 districts of Himachal, who were recently posted by Congress National President Sonia Gandhi.

If sources are to be believed, Himachal Congress in-charge Rajiv Shukla will instruct AICC secretary to conduct survey in all the assembly constituencies of the state today. During this, the AICC secretary will also see how strong the Congress organization is in the state. On the basis of their report, Congress will allot tickets for the assembly elections in the state.

Before this, the AICC secretary will submit his report to Congress National President Sonia Gandhi. Along with the AICC secretary, the coordinator will also play an important role in the survey. In today’s meeting, Rajiv Shukla will also give instructions to the party to unite and stick to the electoral fray.

Apart from Congress State President Pratibha Singh, Leader of Opposition Mukesh Agnihotri, President of Election Campaign Committee Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, four working presidents Pawan Kajal, Rajendra Rana, Harsh Mahajan and Vinay Kumar have also been called in the meeting convened by Himachal Congress in-charge Rajiv Shukla. AICC secretaries and 12 coordinators of 12 districts have been specially invited in today’s meeting.
